Last year was full of changes. I'm spending more time on my decorative pieces. Every firing seems to yield more information. I've tried adding a few new things to the pit, looking for even more variety in the colours and patterns produced. Some of these experiments have given interesting results. Some have given spectacular results. A few have given results I'd rather not talk about!!
2009 was notable (regrettably) because of all of the rain we had during the spring and summer. It made firings difficult to say the least! The Weather Network became my favourite TV channel. Hopefully that unfortuneate trend doesn't repeat itself this year.
I've been invited to participate in the Lake Scugog Spring Studio Tour as a guest artist at the studio of Pamela Meacher.
Shows will be added to the list as information becomes available
I'm focusing on my pit fired and raku pottery for shows. My functional pottery will continue to be available here at the studio. Just drop in, phone or e-mail.
